How much do I earn?
30% of what each customer you refer pays, before tax and after any discount. On the annual plans that is $17.70, $44.70 or $89.70 a year per customer, depending on the plan they buy.
Do I earn on renewals?
Yes. Once a subscription is attributed to you, its renewals are too, for as long as the customer keeps an active subscription, even after the cookie has expired.
How long does the referral cookie last?
60 days, once the visitor accepts it. Unstale.ai asks every visitor who arrives through a partner link, as the law requires, and sets nothing for a visitor who refuses: that sale can only reach you through a coupon code issued to you. The last click wins: a newer referral link replaces an older cookie. If the customer uses a coupon code issued to another partner, that partner gets the sale.
When and how do I get paid?
Once a month, when your payable balance reaches $50. A commission becomes payable 30 days after the payment it comes from. You choose an ACH bank transfer to a US bank account, with no fees on our side, or PayPal, whose receiving fees are yours. Outside the US, PayPal is the way to get paid, unless you hold a US bank account or a multi-currency account like Wise, Revolut, Payoneer or Airwallex.
What happens if a customer gets a refund?
The matching commission is removed, even if it was already paid out; the deduction then comes off your next payout. That is what the 30 days hold is for.
Do I need to be a customer?
No, joining is free. That said, the free plugin is on wordpress.org, and a post you refreshed yourself makes the most convincing demo.
What is not allowed?
Buying through your own link or code, bidding on the Unstale brand in paid search, posting your coupon code on coupon or deal sites, spam, and any trick that sets the cookie without a real visit. A sale that breaks these rules is not paid.
What promotional material do I get?
